If you are planning to run a jk 44 you might want to look at Iron Rock's web site. They have a nice d30 truss and inner axle sleeve kit. you might be able to talk them into fabing something for a jk 44 for you. I've heard their pretty good with stuff like that, and fairly cheap

i am planning on running a 9in in the rear.. im set on that. i should have stated axle.... i appologize. so its really not much stronger then a 30? cause there quite pricey and dont want to spend that money for something thats just a little better.

No, they aren't much stronger then a D30. Also, if you run a Rubi 44 in the front and a Ford 9" in the rear you will be running two different bolt patterns.

1/2 true it's easy to order axles with different patterns for a 9in , moser sells street axles for under $300 a pair stronger then stock and then just find a drum that is the right diameter with the right bolt pattern.. i'm just planning to stick the stock drum back on as my 9in has 10 in brakes or buy one of the thousands of disc kits out there for a 9in

My opinion, get a matching 44/9" out of a F-150 and go from there. Cost will be less then getting a Rubi 44 and buying new shafts for the 9 inch. Strength will be marginally stronger and that's before adding chromoly shafts and such. You get manual hubs and can run a lower gear ratio. And TNT builds a nice truss that can incorporate all the mounts needed for the XJ.
