Rust converters
I'm starting to think about what rust converter to use when I clean up the undercarriage. After the converter comes a scuffing and then bedliner (or por-15). I've seen TONS of different rust converters. Ospho, Purple Power De-Ruster, etc etc etc. Anyone have any luck with a certain brand? I'm also a cheapo so I wanna get the best for the price, yet this isn't something that I want to skimp on, so tell me what's the best.
Thanks

por-15 is probably the best on the market. You can use the por-15 right over rust with out removing it. It's a complete seal.. Use it you'll never be sorry..

Yep, rust is when oxygen corrodes metal. If you seal it properly, no more oxygen will get to it, and it will stop rusting.

Right off the Por-15 site..
POR-15® is a high-tech, high performance rust-preventive coating designed for application directly on rusted or seasoned metal surfaces. It dries to an incredible rock-hard, non-porous finish that won't chip, crack, or peel, and it prevents rust from recurring by protecting metal from further exposure to moisture.
Use it to coat rusty frames, floor pans, farm equipment, marine equipment, or even a heavily corroded battery tray.
POR-15® is sensitive to UV light (sun) and must be topcoated for prolonged exposure to sunlight.
Topcoating is not required for areas not exposed to sunlight.

x2 on the POR-15 i coated the chassis of my 1970 c10 truck and it went right over the surface rusted frame, and coats perfectly, and actually looks pretty good.
i plan on doing the underside of the jeep soon
