troth i have never heard of putting seafoam in the differentials..i know when using it in the oil you add 1/3 of a can to the crankcase when you put the fresh oil back in and it stays til your next oil change.so i would imagine if you use it in the diff you just add to fresh fluid and leave it til you change it again.if your looking for a better lubricant i would suggest one of the lucas oil products additives or possibly a racing differential oil if you can find it. i run valvoline gear oil in all my vehicles and find it comes out cleaner than some of the other fluids i have used. also i recommend the aftermarket front axle end tube seals. they need to be greased every couple weeks but it keeps all that mud and filth out of my axle tubes and differential.last time i changed it mud poured out in the oil...this time it was black from use but no mud water or twigs like i found last time..


Oh and chris octane boost promotes a cleaner burn in the cylinder thus increasing the power released in the fuel that normally would run out your tail pipe. yes high octane gas doesnt well run in low comp engines your right. but you have to rememeber the octane levels on the pump are highly exaggerated..93 isnt really 93 anymore its far less thats why they put the all the corn gas and other assorted crap they put in it to make it burn.my 350 rocket motor is techincally low compression at 8.9:1 compression and i can burn 105 octance racing fuel with no troubles and you definatley feel the difference and it reflects in 0-60,0-100 and 1/4 times respectively.thats due to the complete burn of the fuel creating a bigger thrust of the pistons thus making the engine work less to make power in its rpm range.however the harder the cylinders fire the more stress is put on the rotating assembly and the main bearings.so use with caution..never more than recomended and timing timing timing to ward off pre ignition and detonation. says right in the manual premium gas wont hurt your engine.that was a very well spoken and thought out response by the way chris.

 

Ya I never ran the octane boost until oregon started using E85 and E90. yes ethanol burns, but with only 1/3 the btu's of gasoline. I noticed that driving up to mt hood at 3000 rpms for about 20 minutes straight, I heard alot of pings and it wasnt very responsive and I could hear the piston firing noise louder than usual. so thats when I started using it about a year and a half ago. I have had nothing but great results.

and I love the injector cleaner too. it makes a noticeable difference for the next tank. especially if you floor it a couple times with the cleaner in there
