Neoprene seat covers are probably the best. But of coarse they have a pretty hefty price tag. A pair of used seats in better shape might be cheaper if that's a possible route. It's fairly easy to do. Just 3 bolts and a nut on each seat. As long as the bolts aren't too rusted. I've snapped the bolt that goes through the floor a couple times. The bolt shaft is accessible under the vehicle to clean it up and use some penetrating oil on.

Do you have one piece buckets or removable headrest ones? I purchased the Coverking Rhinohides for removable headrest ones. They are not cheap. Got a pretty good deal though. Paid $320 for front and back. Highly recommend them. I think one of the reasons I got them on so well though is because I swapped over from one piece cloth to removable headrest leather seats. They were in so so condition so I took them apart, cleaned them best I could, and installed the seat covers with the backs separated from the bottoms while out of the Jeep.

+1 on Coverking. I went with their Ballistic Nylon for the front seats only in both my ‘89 and ‘96. Fits a little looser than other covers but they are custom fit and very durable.
