Default Seeking XJ Rust Repair Spiritual Leaders Input

So my 2000 XJ Classic-Lets Go Brandon Edition cost me $600.00 two years ago, it was my second XJ ever... yes I currently own 2 XJS 3 total ever. In reality I do plan to get a newer daily driver and just use my XJ for going to do outdoor stuff. But I also want to make an attempt to reinforce the frame. Im not trying to do some rust valley restorer stuff.. but I want to keep this one and keep getting better at autobody and motor repair. Is it possible to stop the frame from rusting to breakage?

For $600 im guessing its pretty rough all around.

Post pictures of the underside so we can see what condition its in as it sits. If it looks anything like whats posted already, it might be better to part it out and scrap whats left.

Are all the rust holes packed with filler? Or does it just look like that?

You need to inspect the important parts, such as the unibody rails front & rear suspension mounting points etc

If they are rusted (which seems likely), its probably not worth it

non-structural rust can be "repaired" like you have.

Structural rust can only be repaired by removing all rusted metal, and welding in new material
