Serpintine Belt Problems
Well my serpitine belt keeps grinding on my timing cover where it rides by the fan, this is the second time it has happened there is no way to replece the bearing that goes out you just have to find the whole unit the ac copressor rides on. this happen to anyone else. i think jeep knew it was going to happen because they made one spot on the timing cover thicker. sometimes i dont know why i mess with thing all it does is give me probs. so basically just wondering about anyone elses experiences with this. sorry i suck at spelling. haha

Is your belt running off the fan pulley? If so you will need a new crank harmonic balancer (damper). It's common for the outer crank pulley ring to walk off center over time.
