Whats better for a 2" lift a shackle or short AAL?

Delete the idea of a short AAL all-together.... A long AAL is exactly the same amount of work, and yields much better results...

I understand that. But would you rather do the lift once right, or a couple of times to fix the problems? A short AAL is HARD on the stock springs. Like the others have said, there have been many instances of stock springs warping or cracking right where a short AAL ends at do to its stiffness. A long AAL won't do those things do to the length of the AAL itself.
I had a Rusty's 2" long AAL on the blue Jeep posted in the rig pics thread. The AAL itself was only half an inch shorter than the main spring in the factory pack. I really never had any sagging problems in the 2 years I owned it. Yes, the ride was significantly rougher than stock. But I bought the jeep to be used as a stop-gap between the family car and a full-fledged pick-up, so utility was more important than ride.

usarmy0101 IMO yes...My thoughts are this you have shackles they will work for your application. You have no plans of any hardcore offroading so I would use em. Mine work just fine and so on.. AAL IMHO is not worth the money or time but that's just me..So if I were you I'd just install the kit you got and move along..
