My '91 xj shakes violently whe I come to a full stop. If I have been driving rather fast, then the shaking is not bad, but if I have been in stop and go or just not moving over around 25-30 then it will shake very badly. Also, if it shakes bad, then I have trouble accelerating immediately after. What could this be?

My injectors were just cleaned by a mechaninc, but I haven't had a tune up yet. I have only owned the jeep for a couple months.

 

I've had the same problem with mine i figured it had something to do with oil pressure so i changed my oil sending unit switch around $50 at auto zone helped for a while then it started again and missed in cylinder 3 so i ran lucas injector cleaner and i havent had a problem since but it only happened in warmer weather

 

I would check motor mounts and injectors. Just kinda do a run through on everything. When is the last time you did a tune up?
