If by 4x4 lights you mean the trans case shifter lights then it is most likely just the bulbs. If the fuse would have blown, you would have lost your dash cluster as well. There's one bulb for the shifter and one for the t-case. Pretty easy to get to, just pop the bezels off and you'll see them. I suggest unhooking the battery before you change the bulbs because I know quite a few people have blown the fuse since it's such a low amperage. Also, switch to LED's. Less draw, brighter and last longer. T-10s work great. You can get them on ebay for cheap and get them in any color.
