I had this same problem. From 45 to 50mph. I thought it was a balance issue. So i got the tires balanced. No fix. Then i bought a dual stabilizer kit from Rustys to cure shimmy. No fix..It turned out to be the track bar. It centers the axle with the body. All gone now. Hope this helps

my tires stand 34.75" inches tall. and I do only have a 3" with alot of trimming done. Still rubs at full flex tho.

tires were just balanced 3 months ago. Have not done any hard wheeling or mudding to speak of.

I searched death wobble and front end shimmy and vibration.
none seemed to be after the front end housing was welded back on so i thought i'd ask some experts.

The top arm that comes from the body/frame that fastens to the top of the housing. Shouldn't have been welded but I know enough now to watch it for any more potential damage/breakage.

Not trying to steal the thread, but. I have a 2001 Cherokee that has just developed the same problem, shimmy at 55 -60 mph. I have stock wheels, tires and lift. Any ideas???
