short arm uppers and long arm lowers?

Default short arm uppers and long arm lowers?

local jeep junkyard has a homemade long arm setup it has the transfer case crossmember and the arms for the lower, i currently have rcs adjustable upper and lowers, should i stick to with what i got?

if its cheap i'd buy it....you will get a way better ride, even with just long lowers...i had the teraflex kit that is similar on my last xj and was pretty pleased with it. flexed pretty good.....better than with short arms.

you can always weld a bracket onto the lowers and make new uppers to make them a y-link.

but only if you can get them cheap enough. and if they're adjustable.
if not, you could always make them adjustable, or just stick with what you've got.

I would check to make sure they are not damaged in any way. If you do fab up something, keep your caster angle in mind, so you don't have handling issues, or DW. HTH!!

It would be a good start. However, long lowers and short uppers will not work all that well. As suggested, the best thing would be to weld a couple of brackets on the long arms and have a Y link, or use it as a foundation for a three or four link set up.

they are adjustable already...and yeah ill have to try and get em for like 25

lots of homemade longarm setups are scary.

there might be a reason the kid didnt take them off before he junked his jeep.

you will get some nasty pinion dive with long lowers and short uppers.
