lift the blade, how much does the front end drop...if he's been plowing snow, check the fluids, trans and transfer case, are they clean? does this guy have any maintenance records? ask the simple questions, oil changes, etc. and what's he asking for it? ask if you can have it taken to a local garage for an inspection, it's cheap, usually 30.00 for a 43pt, gives you a good look under it as well....

I brought him down from 2200 to 1500. All the records are at my brothers work cuz it was all done there. He's going to bring it to my brothers shop just for him to overlook it for me.

Stumper- He put in a heavy duty spring and it barely drops an inch. I was talking with him earlier this week.

My real concern is the miles?????

If you know the history of it I say go for it and 200,000 miles is alright as long as the motor was taken care of

What did he plow with it? How was he when he plowed? Was he rammy with it or gentle? Remember, these are unibody and a plow can do a lot of damage to these. I plow commercial parking lots (big local businesses like Walmart and such) and know what they can do to a 1 ton frame let alone the drivetrain.

I'd say that by now, he has either bought it or moved on. But your points are valid

As long as it was ordered with the plow package and hasn't been abused go for it. Did Jeep even still offer a plow package after 90?
