hi all, got a wee problem with the jeep.. she Idell's for about two minutes then dies , slowly down for corners she dies..doing 50kph and rev gauge sits on two..and the auto is all over the place....its a 95 ...was out on a jeep run the other week , down a rocky river bed, was water but nothing deep... wet loose senser, somwhere... was told if i turn it on and off 4 times i can get a code??????? any help would be great....

I had a problem with it idling, mine would not idle at all sometimes at start, would have to sit with the gas pedal partly pushed in, it would stall sometimes at low speeds at "idle" as well. replaced the battery on mine, solved the problem. Apparently the computer also "learns" the proper idle so if you've recently run the battery completely dead this could be a problem as it will have "forgotten" how to idle properly

Your map sensor is on the firewall near the back of your valve cover. Your tps is mounted on the side of your throttle body.

Do you have a manual for your truck? I would say get a book and it says everything about them. Its just better if you can have the book out at the jeep with you. If not let me know

um no book, but my mate has it on cd thing i can put up on computer.... wet out at mo, but will get out and have a look and keep you posted.....cheers mate....

its as if something is confusing the auto, if that makes sense, takes ages to shift, fluids are sweet......???????not long put that auto in... pretty sure shes sweet
