My 92' is boggin out when I take off and the other day it almost overheated if someone could throw out some suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. I checked the electrical fan today and it works so I'm thinking either temp sending unit or falty wiring. Could that cause the bogging?

 

What's the fuel pressure in psi?

 

Ok ill start from the beginning. The check engine light came on shortly after the bogging started. My first guess was fuel filter so I changed that it was pretty dirty an looked like the oem part but pressure in the lines seemed fine. Is there an easy way of checking? Then the day after, I got stuck in some traffic and my jeep got abnormally hot..like almost red line so I checked the electrical fan an found out it was never coming on.. I jumped the fan to the batt. found out its good but don't know why it wouldn't be kicking on..unless its the sending unit or faulty wiring.. I'm going to test the sending unit tomorrow... But if the sending units bad would my temp gauge still work?

 

Temp sending unit fixed it all...
