if you have a np 207, 231, 242, 249 & 241OR go to http://www.novak-adapt.com/catalog/kit_131.htm they make a kit to adapt it to those transfercases

ok but i think all those tranfercases do a driverside drop and that adapter will bolt up to that transmission if you want a tcase that bolts directly to the transmission it will be a passenger side drop thats the way chevy tcases are

Swap the front half of a 231C from an S10/s15 and the chevy input gear onto a 231J, then use a $60 clocking ring off of ebay and you're good to go.

I have a complete drivetrain out of a 99 chevy 1ton 4x4, Vortec 350 auto trans & transfer case... can I put it in my XJ with 4.56 gears on 35" tires and still have it streetable?

all the ifs chevy t-cases are passenger side drop. that would be all 4x4 chevys from 92 and up. one of those would probably bolt right up

but he said he wanted a driverside drop and you can buy an adapter for the TH350 that will allow you to use a NP207, 231, 242, 249 & 241OR transfer case(which are all driverside drop), the length or the TH350 is almost the same as an AX15 and AW4 is pretty close to being the same so if he already has one of those transfer cases then all he would need to buy is the adapter for it, and he would not have to buy new driveshafts either, you can get the adapter here http://www.novak-adapt.com/catalog/kit_131.htm

It is a ring with the bolt pattern of your transfer case on it many times over. All the holes are next to each other so you can pick which set you want and position your transfer case in one of several positions.

if you just get the clock ring it will leak oil cause on the TH350 it has a seal that goes on the back of the transmission where it connects to the adapter and there is another seal in between the transfer case and the adapter to keep the tranny from leaking fluid
