Default Small gap between engine mount and bracket ?

Ive got a small gap between the rubber engine mount and the inside of the bracket it bolts to.
(Its where the long bolt goes into the rubber mount then through the metal bracket)
Is this a problem? I am afraid of that long bolt snapping but I dont see any way of fixing it other than installing a washer or two to take up the space.

Thanks.

It may be old and failing, but typically the OEM style mounts aren't super tight fits.

Failed, replacement, & upgrade in that order.

Top down view. I imagine you mean a big gap here? The bolts aren't supposed to be super tight but should be snugged up lightly with little to zero room for play front to back. Otherwise the fan can hit the radiator.

Yea, if your looking down at it, The gap is between the rubber and the steel mount, on the inside so theres no way to take up the space by tightening the nut any more. Its about 1/8th to 3/16ths of an inch gap.
I replaced the drivers side and the passenger side mount is in good condition. I should have bought some grade 8 bolts and installed them, Maybe later.
Thanks.
