Just b/c one knuckle head has an issue doesn't mean their products suck. R.E is decent stuff too, but they out source damn near everything. They only assemble. I called and asked.
BDS is decent but their long arm kit blows. T&T Customers (formally known as Trek) has what I think to be one of the best lifts.
I've had no issues what so ever. I've also done the work correctly too.
Can't stand it when ppl talk crap about a product or company just b/c of some dismal crap that could have very well been operator error.
Rustys was accredited by the BBB....until they did some stupid stuff and BBB threatened to drop their rating, or pronounce them a un-accredited business. They took the second one.

Rustys has scammed people, ignored RMA's, ignored complaints, and made receipts disappear.

Now for a personal experience, they ripped me off. Ordered a full kit, had some wrong parts(pin/hole size etc) sent them in. Never got anything back, attempted to call, email, fax, nothing. They sent me the exact same thing I got before, after 7 months of complaining. Sold it on craigslist.

BDS>Most Companies(warranty/cs/quality wise)

Screw the BBB. They hold no authority. There are plenty of business not listed with the BBB and do quite fine. My 2 business were one of them.
Sorry to hear you got dicked around a little. I can't say I've ever experienced that. But I may say you don't have much to stand on it you didn't install your kit. Product wise, they're a good kit. Again. I've had no issues with mine.
Company's and ppl are going to make mistakes. I've ordered a ton of stuff with em. I've talked to Zack each and every single time. And still no issues.
I am sorry you had to experience that. I really hate hearing ppl getting dicked around when it comes to their money. I've always given more then fair service and product when helping ppl. But that's just me.

Any serious business is accredited from the BBB... Its really not that hard, and that was not meant to be disrespectful in any manner.

I couldnt install it, it had the wrong parts.

5.5/10? Thats bad.

This happens to ALOT of people with them.

its the bar that runs width-wise in front of the axle that goes from bottom right by the passenger side spring to the left side and has a bracket mounted to the "frame" rails. in my experience a heim joint on the end is better than a tie rod end, it allows for less slack resulting in less chance for death wobble and less slack in the steering wheel.

i've gotta agree. you cant speak for something you've never owned. its like arguing over a ford. chevy, or dodge...you gotta test all three to know whats the best.

T&T is rather expensive. But I've held their products in my hand. It's nice
craftsmanship. They use quality materials. But yes they are expensive.
I've always tried to stay non bias on products. The only thing I'll crap talk is Rough Country and Pro comp aka Pro crap. But one can not argue that there is a customer base out there that'll buy it. They're making more money then I. But I'll be damned if I buy it.
Personally, I don't think you could really go wrong with any of the name brands out there. If you get what it is that your trying to achieve. Regardless of name brand. Then who cares?
I'm sure the hell not building my rig according to what anyone online has to say. I'm the one I have to make happy. Just build it. Jeep guys are usually cool. So if you build it crappy. One of em should be able to pull ya out. Unless your riding with one of the A-holes from Pirate. "I'm too cool for you. I fab everything. And don't have the time to answer your question without being a *****."
Sorry. was that on a tangent?

i agree, do what works best for you. i'm somewhat new to wheeling, but i will say the more work i do myself, the better understanding i have of what works, what doesn't and what i really want to acheive.

getting back to products/lifts (that is what this thread is right?) i just put on some Rusty's coils and they're nice and soft...i haven't had to deal with their customer service though(heard some horror stories) since i bought them used like everything else on my jeep

now i just need to get the back as flexy, this weekend hopefully...
