Soften the ride.
Curious if there is any means of breaking in a new suspension smoothing out the ride. It has all brand new springs from RE. After they were installed the shop said that they were cargo rated which is most likely why it likes to bounce all over the road. Never wanted the cargo springs as I indicated it is a family vehicle. Am I looking at more $$$ into this thing getting it to drive right?

Ideally you don't want SOFT suspension. If its RE you should be fine and it should be better than it was as a new vehicle. I wouldn't expect it to be like a cargo truck. It will be stiffer than you had previously but thats what you want. Its safer for your vehicle and family.
If its all over the road after new springs. I would suggest good shocks. You can get some REs or just some RS5000 ranchos should help with that. Shocks that dampen one way cause you to hop all over with good springs. If you have the proper shocks you shouldn't have an issue at all.
