Default Someone Tried to Hot-Wire my Car.. How to fix!?!

I stupidly left my car unlocked, and this was done in the middle of the night. I was wondering what the easiest way to rewire it would be, or if I could cut the harness out and solder the wires without it?

The car wont start now, so I need to get it fixed asap. I can handle the wiring and what not, I just wonder if the harness is necessary, because if so it gets a bit more complicated.

1991 Jeep Cherokee 4x4

Thanks in advance

If you can get to a pic-n-pull Jy mabye you could grab the cut side of that connector and solder it back in.

I had an issue once with a car where a section of the wiring harness had burnt up. What I did was what fishtaconc suggested. I went to the jy and cut out a section of harness then soldered it in place in my car. Worked good. just a word of advice not all of the wire colors were exactly the same from my car to the donor car in my situation.

I'd just cut out the plug and crimp the wires together with butt splices. If you crimp them properly they'll outlast the rest of the truck.

I would cut the plug and solder them in a heart beat, then black tape. Twenty minutes time to fix it if that is all the wire damage.
