Default something unbalanced but stops when pressing brakes

Ok so this just happen recently after a little bit of driving off road. Just a farm road really.

So at slow speeds 10 mph or slower there is no issue. Beyond that and it seems like my wheels are unbalanced.

Now what I find odd is once I brake it stops. So I tried pressing the brakes and moving at various speeds. 10 20 30 40 50 60. Pressing the brakes just slightly not enough to stop the vehicle while still pressing the gas. When I did that it stopped drove fine. Once I let off brakes it was crap again.

What's wrong????

lug nuts torqued?
front hubs worn?

check ball joints and tie rod ends

My guess would be unit hub.

Have the rotors turned , probably overheated them and they warped . very common

Are the unit bearings the wheel bearings of the hub assembly?

I agree with checking the rotors. If you have vibration and it goes away with braking, that would be the obvious fix.

Wow I feel stupid. I checked the lugs prior to driving on the farm roads since I got new wheels and tires a few weeks ago. Then I drove the road. Then I got the problem.

So I just checked the lugs again just now and my drivers side wheel I made at least 3 full turns on each lug. The passenger a half turn. The rear were still tight.

So what causes the lugs to back off?

He stated he checked the lugs after that though, so he's got no one to blame but himself.

I don't think there is anyone to blame as far as them being loose. Just had to be rechecked I guess.

Leo, Did you have your tires serviced At Precision Tire? The reason I ask is I had a slow leaker fixed there and then left for a trip to California. Made it to Roseburgh Oregon and the Driver's side rear wheel exited the Jeep. They hadn't tightened the lug nuts properly. I normally always re-torque mine myself but, this one time I left town right after the service.
