Default sounds like torque converter bolts or broken flexplate but is not

i have a sound coming from the bottom of my motor not a knock nor a lifter tap i know what those sounds like this i am puzzled about. i got under my 92 and took the cover off and tried to tighten the bolts they was all very tight what could be my problem if anyone know please help

All you can do initially is try and narrow it down with an engine stethoscope, (a cheap but effective tool) or long screwdriver

and try to ascetrain frequency

I have a single knock emanating from my vehicles front underside, which I have not been able to diagnose.

I am waiting for it to get worse so I can

Could be something in or on the engine or transmission making that sound.

Hit the flex plate with a wrench lightly , if it tings nice like a bell , is not cracked. If it thuds ,is cracked. You cant,t see the cracks behind the flex plate.
