Now if i just did the lift, without doin any offroad stuff, would i still be able to run the stock shocks untill i can get some good ones?

Also what kind of brake lines should i get? i think i read somewhere that tj or yj or some other jeep brake lines fit that i could get from the JY?

hey i know where thats at! called them last week to order Peugeot tranny mount and motor mounts... there sister store is 4wd.com... wait... you mean Four Wheel Drive right? or was it 4 Wheel Drive... hell... they didnt have it in stock for me to come get so i just had them send it here... nice folks...

Also if your looking at getting that small of a lift then just go to that JY your talkin about and get some V8 ZJ front springs and a set of S-10 rear leafs and build a bastard pack... that way you could do little by little on your little budget... buy the front springs first... then later build your bastard pack and BAM! 2 in lift for under $100 and its stronger and more safe then coil spacers and shackles (which throw off your pinion angle from what i hear)... search it up on google... i have but decided just to save for a 4.5in kit!

You can use S-10 rear leafs or Dakota rear leafs and couple them to some Revolver shackles to really help your articulation. Revolvers aint cheap though. If you have the cash, maybe try JKS ACOS system (adjustable coil over spacer), they have 1.25 inch lift minimum and are adjustable thereafter. I don't know their max amount of lift. These will give you the option of going higher later and the ability to level front/rear

Oh yeah, as already mentioned, stay far away from junkyard brake lines. The money you save won't even cover your copay at the emergency room. Not worth it my friend, just not worth it.

acos from jks isn't cheap either. but it allows you to adjust from 1.25-4" whick is awesome cause it allows you to match your rear no matter what you do back there, and also allows you to add a little bit if you add bumper or winch down the road. I think they run about 260. If you find them decently cheap, let me know

I also have a spare adjustable lowering kit from my 97 altima, and the strut diameter is the same as the bump stop housing on the xj. If you cut the lip off the bump stop housing you can install the "lowering kit" and ues it the same as the acos. The kit came with springs and a large threaded peice with threaded spring pearches and a lock nut to adjust the spring mount height. I didn't install it cause I have enough lift for my needs and it would be goofy without the rear up a bit

Now just a couple questions. How are going with different springs and leafs make it more safe? Sorry for asking such a dumb question. Also would the shackles really affect the pinion angle? I only have a 2wd .

Also would the coils out of a 2004 Grand Cherokee fit?

Ya your correct, 4wd is the same as 4wd.com. If your in Griffin go N on 75 and 4wd is on the right going into Atl......pretty close to the Pinkpony south!!! HUGE sign got to be blind to miss it. If they dont have what your looking for they can ordered it, have them send it to your house...save a trip
