Ok awesome. So try the chaser first from what im gathering. But i still have no idea what size i need. For either chaser or tap.

Oh and one other question off topic here. WHen i first got my jeep i tried to murder a tree with it. (joke) But it dented in the bumper cap on the passenger side and i beleive it was pressing up against the headlight cover. Later on during a drive on the freeway hit a bird at about 75. It ripped the headlight cover off and popped the heads off of all the screws. So at the moment the only thing thats holding it on is duct tape. How would i go about removing screws that rusted and broke like that? Lost the end bumper cap as well due to the rust.

14m/m threads. The 6-242 head uses the "peanut plugs" with the 5/8" hex, that comes back to an M14 threads. The M18 thread hasn't been used new in some time...

Most chasers will have the same thread on both ends, and I think there are only the two thread sizes. If I hadn't answered you, you could have easily found out anyhow - go to the parts house, tell them what you've got, and tell them what you need. If the guy is on the ball, he'll look up your plugs first - that will answer his question.
