Spark Plug Wires?
I have a 2000 XJ Sport.
Today we attempted a tune up of the spark plugs and spark plug wire sets. However, there were no spark plug wires. It was some kind of one piece module that bolted on to the engine that the plugs went into. Seemed to be an electronic system.
Everything I read said there would be wire sets and the liking.
Any thoughts on this? Thanks for the help!

coil parks arent usually upgradable, they are a one size fits all type of deal, they are really expensive to replace if they go bad

Sorry to thread jack, but do XJ owners with older years convert their conventional coils and plug wires to a coil on plug setup? I plan on doing this with my 92' GSX-R750 streetfighter with 2001 CBR 929 C.O.P.s.

Why would you want to do that? It's a bunch more expensive, and doesn't really buy you much. You aren't going to see massive gains in power or mileage. The cost/benefit ratio just isn't there.
Not sure the computer would be compatible anyway, but even if it were a plug and play swap, it wouldn't be worth it. Lipstick, meet pig.
I love my 4.0 six, but it's not a racer, and never will be.

To the OP, use only NGK plugs, no miracle crap.
