This is frequently misunderstood about older vehicles. For our old XJs the tuneup list is starting to become "everything". Replacing a single component with something fancy won't do much when the rest of the chain is worn out and crap.
Not to mention E3s have documented problems with 4.0s

Look for E3 misfire on here, NAXJA, and Jeep Forum. On this forum there are a few people reporting issues with these after very few miles. Bosch +4 too.
It IS anecdotal and some people have good luck with them, so it's possible that they'll work fine when the entire system is new... But I'd much rather spend a few bucks on some new NGKs with guaranteed OE performance and regularly inspect them versus buying super expensive plugs that don't work right half the time, will probably foul with blowby and lead a life much shorter than advertised, and probaby outlast the unibody. Lol

A spark plug is a spark plugs, just buy your normal champions... They all do the same exact thing. Even though they say they increase mpg , they really dont, all spark plugs do the SAME EXACT thing

The only reason I thought they mite be better is because they supposedly burn the fuel better cuz the arc is better. So I figured Id ask and see what every ones thoughts were on it

Edit: I meant to say sparkers not sparklers but auto-correct fixed. I think I like it this way better.

30K ?(that is ideal practice), perhaps I should, my last set of champions I ran for 130000km, they were very well worn down, yes they were done, still ran in all weather, perhaps I won't push the current set that far. So you can let them go longer that 30K and your XJ won't immediately turn into a frog.
