When I bought my 87 Cherokee the speedometer and odometer weren't working. Its cable driven and does not have cruise control. I replaced the speedo cable and realized it has a speed sensor hooked up to the speedometer that I didn't think should be there. Needless to say it didn't work. I went and bought a different type of speedo cable and took the sensor off and hooked it straight to the speedometer with no better results. today I went to pick a part and bought a gauge cluster that still gave no results after installation. The cables connect to the gear and transfer case just fine, are there anythings I'm missing? I would appreciate any input you guy have!
