Hey everyone, this one may be an easy one, but I am not sure..
In a couple of weeks my brake pedal started to squeak and feel spongy... It is perfectly oiled... but the noise seems ti come from behind the firewall... Do I have a failing part or Is It Just time for an oil bleed and change ?

 

Start with bleeding the brakes. The self adjusters in the rear brakes are not very effective, so make sure your rear brakes are adjusted correctly. Either one, or both of these could cause the issue you are having. Start simple first before throwing parts at an issue.

 

Ah... I know for sure that my rear need adjusting cause I noticed after a long downslope my front rims were glowing while my drums were just warm...And the braking action isnt great indeed.... In the meantime I have looked into the brake reservoir and the oil is quite clean tho.... anyway Ill bleed em asap

 

does the brake pedal make noise like its leaking air?

 

No , I know what you mean with the air sound, but nope... just squeaks and squeal.... Still waiting for my DOT 3 and a few spares to be delivered and Il keep you posted
