Sporadic wiper issue.
Ever since I got my jeep the wipers have acted weird sometimes. Sometimes when I start the jeep they'll come on and wipe and not stop, sometimes they won't, And all the time when I use them when I turn them off they won't stop in the park positon, always up in the middle of the glass and I"ll have to turn the switch back on, and turn it off when they are at the bottom of the glass.
Is this going to be a switch issue or motor issue with the motor park bad, I just don't want to open up a parts cannon on it.

I would guess motor, but you can diagnose the issue.
Remove the cowl and unplug the connector to the motor. Read the voltages at the different phases of the switch. If it is getting 12 v and at the appropriate times, then it would be a fault in the motor. If it isn't receiving sufficient volts or isn't at the correct times, then the issue is before the motor. It could be wiring or the switch.
There is a ground when you do this that you can clean since you are already there.

It was a combo of bad solder on the motor and the intermittent module under the dash, Put a new motor on and it would still come on with the ignition, but it would stop where it's supposed to be. So I bypassed the intermittent box and they work right now, just on 1 and 2 speeds, So I've got to grab another control box next time I'm at the junkyard.

Velcroed to the under side of the dash right under the steering column. Has a plug with about 5 or 6 wires on each end, you can unplug it and the 2 plugs will plug into each other bypassing it.
