Sport tachometer issues
I got a sport cluster swapped into my 95, and just recently, it’s been acting really erratically lately.
What’ll happen is when I first start in 1st gear, go up to 2k, shift to 2nd, go up to about 2.3k, it’ll jump almost 400 RPM’s and then go back down.
I’ve also noticed that if I have my wipers on while cruising on the highway, it’ll say I’m cruising at 2k rpms, and it’s most certainly not cursing at 2k. When I turn off my wipers, then it jumps up to about 2.8k which is what’s normal at about 65 on the interstate for me.
Im starting to lean to a bad ground causing interference to the tach, considering that my wipers have an effect on the rpms it displays. Any other thoughts would be awesome as well
