RTV works at the junction of the two halves. A little as it goes out to the end cap for rear main bearing is also helpful.

Where in PA are you? I'm just outside Philly and do Jeep work on the side.
Drop me a PM if i can be of help.
BTW, anyone considering a RMS repair should really consider spending the few extra bucks and using a one piece oilpan gasket and dual lip rear main seal.

Oh yeah those two items are the best option IMHO.. I even used the nice rubber felpro on my valve cover and such and was well worth the extra cash.

If it is engine oil the three main areas are valvecover as mentioned by CodeXJ and oil filter housing has O rings which get old and compressed and require changing and the messiest job is the rear main seal. All three drip off of the bottom of the bellhousing. So a good cleaning will help to pinpoint the source of the drips.
You seemed more concerned with spotting your driveway than the Jeep thus the cardboard comment. We will help you with any of the causes of the dripping but you must first find which of the things listed are the cause.

I know this might sound nubbish, but I recently changed the oil in my 89' xj and created a leak in the process. After cleaning everything I still couldn't figure out where the leak was coming from. So I took off the oil filter thinking maybe when I over tightened it I stripped it. After taking the old filter off I found the cause of the leak. The old gasket from the original filter was still in the housing which kept the new filter from getting that last 1/8" or whatever it needs to set. Maybe check that out.
