Not sayen anything, don't know your problem. On two of mine in decades, it's only been the idler pulley bearing gone bad for me. IIRC it's the same bearing # that goes in a regular old Delco alt, btw.

Hey! Supper! Renting the puller is free, I forget $45 for the pulley? Maybe less. Mine didn't have the rubber splash stuff below made it pretty easy. Just loosened the belt, went under and swapped (the harmonic ballancer). I might have removed the fan shroud, don't remember.

I went out and took those pics just for this, glad it helped!

Forgot to mention....not a bad time to change the timing chain cover seal...something to watch now I suppose.

Is that what's seeping from the crank? Or is that an internal bearing seal

Default Water Pump Pulley

I have had a similar issue with belt squeaking and then finally jumping off of the power steering pump. After looking for a while I found the water pump pulley was wobbling and is missing a bolt. I am wondering if I will need to replace the bolt, bolt and pulley, or the whole pump. Any insight would help. Thanks

If twer me. I'd straight-up replace the water pump. it's not an expensive part. And it's an easy job.

Piece of mind... ya know?

Tried replacing the belt with a bando belt. . I tried everything, except this. When I finally replaced with a band belt it stopped and never has squeaked again
