Starter problem
My daily driver is having an issue starting up. First off let me start by saying that I'm pretty sure the battery is not the issue because even charging the battery up over night or a jump start wont get the engine to turn over, but if someone thinks otherwise please let me know. When the key is in the on position, the battery indicator on the dash reads 9 but when the car is running it stays at 14. So when I turn the key to the start position the starter will click but it will not crank and then all power to the whole car is lost. To restore power I've been disconnecting the negative terminal to the battery and then reconnecting it. I've gotten it to start a few times by turning the crank shaft manually and I assume what that does is loosen up the engine which may be stuck. BTW i just got an oil change so i doubt the engine is getting stuck. So do you guys think it may be a bad starter or a battery?

I would check the battery first. If the battery loses cranking power it won't have enough power to run the starter. Take a meter across the terminals and see how fast if it draining. If you're jumping from an underpowered battery, it has the same effect.
