Here are the pics....first take out the air box and then the electric fan.
Then you will see the adjusting set screw and lock nut.

This is kind of a dangerous adjustment. If over done, the steering may lock up after it has heated up (like, 20 minutes after you get on the highway) causing the steering to bind. In other words, even if it feels correct in your driveway, it may still be a dangerous situation while driving.
If you can't FIND the adjustment screw, you might want to rethink ADJUSTING it.
Maybe.

I'm still going to try adjusting it. Right now my steering is so sloppy it feels dangerous.

I can't get to disconnect the connector (red arrowed) for the electric cooling fan. I want remove the fan so I can get to the steering slop adjustment. I was able to slide red tab on the connector to unlock but it still won't budge, unplug. Any suggestions?

I don't have a connector like that...mine was a bit different. Not sure what the red tab slide is for? Interesting though.

I got it! The electric cooling fan connector has two locks on it. First, the red tab slides side ways, then a black tab needs to be pressed down for the connector to unplug.
I did the adjustment to reduce my slop on my steering wheel. Thanks for the information guys.
Some information I thought to be useful for this job...
adjustment screw locknut, size = 5/8", torque = 36ft-lb
adjustment hex/allen screw, size = 3/16"
two screws holding electric cooling fan, nut size = 5/16"

Be very careful. TINY adjustments. Proper adjusting requires disconnecting the draglink from the pitman and measuring torque required at the steering wheel (yes, engine running), with an inch/ounce gauge.
I replaced the steering box on my Ranger a few years ago after its adjuster BROKE inside the box. Want slop, how about almost half a turn of the wheel before the box turns...
