Steering column
How big of a fix is the steering column? im looking at a 88 cherokee and he says it just needs a steering column, but hes only asking 400

It's an easy swap, a column from 87 to 94 will work. I would be willing to bet this jeep has a tilt column that is loose and wobbley. That is an easy fix if you have the proper tools, like a lock plate depresser, steering wheel puller, and the correct torx bits to tighten the three screws that are loose.

you think it could be driven without being fixed till i can get it home? its a hour or so away from me and i dont have a trailor... but im surprised its only 400, and its 4x4 unlike my current one.
