Because of this https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f59/je...t-night-32845/ I have a messed up steering column.

Thieves (or, wanna be thieves) smashed the steering colum around where the turn signal stalk is.
The hazzard tab is smashed and just sitting there. I have no turn signals or hazzards.
Anyone have ideas on what likely got destroyed, and how to go about inspecting/fixing?

I don't even know how to get the steering column plastic "shroud" off...

If it's the same as it is on the 96, there are a couple of torx bolts that hold the shroud on. You may have to pop out a few "body plugs" that cover up the holes. Mine didn't have em though. You'll probably need to go to the junkyard to get a donor turn signal control arm. If somebody tried to steal my Jeep I would be forced to find them break their knee caps

got it taken care of yesterday.
my bolts were actually phillips, and getting that shroud off-on is an exercise in patience.
Working turn signals and high beams... I'll have to jack with the hazzards sometime in the future.
