Steering hiss 97 XJ
Ever since I picked up my 97 XJ a couple months ago I get this weird hissing noise (no moaning, creaking, whining, just hissing) when I turn the steering wheel. It’s silent when straight but the second I go to turn it hisses like someone is shushing you until it returns back to straight. The more extreme the turn the louder it gets.
Power steering fluid is full and very clean, no other steering issues and the truck drives wonderfully. Just super annoying to hear the noise. Anyone ever have this on their XJ?
