i just got my 6.5in rough country lift on and got an alingment done and for some reason i still have alot of slop in hte steering wheel. i tried to adjust the gear bow and that didnt help at all. the tie rod ends seem fine. the jeep just likes to walk al over the road cause there is so much play in the wheel. any ideas?

I good way to find out if its your steering gear box or something else in your steering system is to have some body in the jeep start it and turn the wheel side to side in the area that it has play in.
If there turning the steering wheel side to side in the area of play and the steering linkage is not moving then its the gear box.
If there turning the wheels side to side in the area of play and the steering linkage is moving but the wheels arent then the gear box is fine and that your tierods could be bad.
Also if the linkage is moving look to see what part are flexing/moving more before the wheels start to turn.
