Sticky gauges
In my 1991 xj my tach and speedo stick when I go from stop to moving. I have to tap on them to get them working. What is the best way to fix this. Thanks in advance.

You could take apart the cluster and see if they are dirty or corroded, and try to clean them, or start looking for a new cluster. It's not difficult to take apart a cluster, just time consuming.

the hardest part is to get to bezel off !
after that 4 screws take out the instrument plastic cover, lube the needle pivots lightly, clean any dust
they all worked fine after that
