Still clunks?... When you hit a bump? When you put in park? When you put in drive? Does it feel like it's coming from the front or back? Does it happen when you stop?

or anything else that moves. TR, TRE, bushings, etc... get under there and push and pull stuff to see if there is anything that is loose. also , easy wa yto see if u joints are good- jack up a tire, grab it top and bottom and push/pull. if it wants to tip, or move at all, then the u joint is bad.

while driving right after i pass about 17mph the clunking gets quicker as speed increases. i have been under my rig numerous times to try and figure it out. driveshaft u joints seem to be in good shape. i have yanked on them spun them no play at all. i even jacked front and rear up spun tires still cant find source of this problem. this happened about a month month and a half ago also. then it stopped until a few days ago.

They are on the end of your axle shaft.. you will see them if you look at the end of your axle behind the backing plate. They will seize up just like a driveshaft u joint will and will make a clunk sometimes.

Usually that means it's a wheel bearing... but since it's clunking that might mean a ball joint that is REALLY bad.. or it could be an unrelated issue to your clunking. Shake the wheel at 3-9 and 6-12 and if it has play at both thats a wheel bearing. It won't be a fun job.. you'll have to take the hub off and have that old bearing pressed out and a new one pressed in unless you have a service set which i highly doubt.
