No Idea if shooting any voltage in to the CPS output can harm it. Seems plausible.

If it has spark, compression, and fuel, it will fire if it's not flooded.

Even if the cam or dizzy were out to lunch it should cough, sputter, or backfire or something.

It spurts fuel out the schader valve, (into the rag you are holding there), and does not fire with starting fluid?

This is my first Utube, with my first experiment with a homemade noid light to check injector pulse. I guess a common, (if you can find one) 3 volt LED light works, note, led's are polarity sensitive, will only work one way.

It's allot easier to test your injector pulse that way.

Would a bad MAP sensor cause a complete no start?

Although my 90 has allot different than your 91, I think they share there. Mine will ether do nothing, (just crank), or crank and sputter some if I unplug my MAP. It normally won't start.
