Stock Coil springs on a 95 ?
I read somewhere, but I cant remember where, that when you change the stock springs, they almost fall out on thier own without having to disconnect much.
Is this true?
The only info I can find, vids or otherwise is for lifts and such.
Thanks.

If they came out that easy they could fall out when off road or hitting a large bump where the tire came off the ground. Its not that hard to replace them and a good starter place for working on your XJ.

They don't "fall out on their own", but I find they are much easier to change than on other vehicles. No clamps or compressors needed, one retaining tab on the bottom.
I simply raised the front, placed stands under the body, let the axle hang. That relieved all the stress on them. Then kind of spin them out.
Still, use caution and research before messing with any spring. Make sure there isn't any pressure on them before just trying to yank them out.
