Do you ever plan on lift and tires?
If yes then it could be worth investing in an UTK inverted T setup.
If no then ZJ tie rod. The ZJ and XJ drag links are very similar, if not identical. Only reason to replace that is to get a fresh tre in there.

ZJ and XJ drag links are identical. Exact same part number. The tie rod for the left is not, thats the part that is "upgraded." $185 shipped from rockauto.com. All new Moog components. My xj is lifted but the parts work the same way. Mine just needed to be adjusted to be longer lol. Will certainly fit stock height.

If you plan on less than a 4" lift than go under the knuckle. If you plan on more than that it would be beneficial to go over the knuckle but you wouldn't be able to do that till its lifted. Also there's more complications if you to down that road.

The mid 90's V-8 ZJ TRE's are all you need I'm on 35's and run them with a 4 1/2" lift, dbl. shear track bar, stock pitman arm and gear box.
Serious is no longer a vendor here. That kit is not needed unless you plan on running 37" or larger tires and a lot of mods where the other ZJ kit is a direct bolt-in and very much stronger nothing like stock by any means it is all heavy solid steel (not the rolled stock type) with larger joints also

The ZJ tie rod would work well and replace the two tie rod tre's but you would also have to replace the drag link to replace those two tre's.
