Default Stock Radio Ground Location?

Does anyone know where the stock radio harness ground location is?

Jeep is a 1992 XJ.

Do you mean where it ends up, or what wire it is? The black wire is the ground. You may be able to see it connect somewhere under the dash where the fuse box is.

Yea I'm just looking for where it ends up, if it goes through to the front in the engine bay or not. I have this weird issue where I'm getting static on my radio only when the doors are just about to be closed, if my doors are open it works fine. Happens on both driver and passenger side. Driving me nuts! I don't know if it's the ground or if it's the speakers themselves.

Sounds like maybe you've got a wiring harness issue where it passes through the body to the doors..The wires break from the repeated opening and closing and if they're rubbing/grounding on something it could show up as static through the speakers..

I was doing some reading on the forums about something similiar, are you talking about the wires in the rubber boot? What would be the best way to fix those without a soldering iron? Just splice the break and use butt connectors? It's definitely something in the door, but only occurs when my headlights are on. If my headlights are off it sounds perfectly fine, can open/close doors with no problems. Turn the lights on, open door all the way and it sounds great, just about ready to close the door instant static. And it doesn't matter the side, happens on both doors. Wondering if maybe it's the boot wires on both doors now. I have an upgraded wiring harness from K suspension etc.
