I run Alpine 6.5's up front without any clearance issue. I had 5.25's and only one screw would hold them in they just werent big enough for the hole but the 6.5's fit.

I just got out of the garage putting new speakers in. I put 6.5's in and had to drill new holes but they fit in. The speakers i took out were 5.25's that only had one screw holding them in (the only way they would stay). it seems like 6" speakers would be the best fit. Im not sure on the rears i took out those awhile ago and built a box that sits ontop of my sub box.

Ive always wanted a 5-speed 2-door for a long time. How much you pay for yours? And do you know how to get the door pannels off to do the speakers? I know theres two scews but other then that do you just pop it off or do you have to be careful because the tabs break?

$4500 2 years ago. And there are 2 screws on the armrest and one behind the inside door lever. You will also have to pop all of the plastic rivet things out. There are 10 or so of them holding the panel up. Just get a screwdriver and pry underneath the bottom of the panel and it should pop the rivets off one at a time. Like you said just be careful.
