x2, I ran 235 a/t's for a while with no problems. As far as leafs go, they are definitely an easier project than the coils up front. If you have any moderate mechanical skills, should be a good day spent in the driveway. Read up here on the forum and post when you are ready to tackle that.

And we wonder why Chrysler/Jeep is in trouble? Wonder if any of those Chrysler/Jeep factory workers that were shown on the news drinkin'/dopein' were in charge of stickers and build sheets?

And Also since yours is a 1990 "TheRooster" mine shouldn't be any diffrent, I'm guessing this is your Cherokee right here, Jeep Cherokee Laredo Red with Gray Trim. http://craigautosaleseureka.com/admi...erokee%201.JPG
Mine looked the same as this one, only diffrent stock rims. But I changed mine to the complete 2001 Classic make over. So 235 shouldn't be a problem for me.

I have a '91 limited, Stock and org. suspenion. I ran 235/75/15 Cooper ST's. But at 20 yrs. old, my rear leafs are sagging. Still have org. shocks. My next plan was a 2.5 Old Man Emu suspenion. and ran either 30" or 31" tires. Because it's a DD, I want the best ride/MPG possible. So that is my plan. JMO!

i have a 96 that sits the same as yours in the back. my eyebolts are rusted and leafsprings wont come out unless i cut them. im going with the add a leaf, just make sure to get the long one, or u can make a bastard pack from a set of s-10 leafs from the junk yard. check out youtube and google for more info on that.
