Default Strange 02 sensor(s) problem

I daily drive my xj (2000) and the other day I started it up and CEL came on. So I went into the garage grabbed the scan tool and come up with these codes. p0161 p0155 p0141 p0135 ach code indicated a separate 02 sensor since it's a California emissions xj. So I drove the truck to see if there were any drivability issues and there was a slight rough idle but nothing serious. So I can back home and checked the fuse and it was blown. I changed it out for another 20 amp and within 10 miles that one had blown also. I had changed bank 2 sensor 1 and 2 a year ago. My question is what else could cause this? My wires look clean none are in contact with the engine or manifold.. Any help would be great! Thanks

You may want to try and isolate which bank of O2S' are causing the fuse to blow.

I like to use these Smart Glow Fuses to isolate circuits blowing a fuse. Got mine from O'Reilly Auto Parts. Keeps from having to remove the fuse to see if the fuse is blown.

Remove both O2S heaters relays. Insert a glow fuse in the O2S heaters slot. Start the engine and see if the fuse blows. If it does the short is probably in the PDC (unlikely).

Shut the engine down. Plug one O2S heaters relay in. Start the engine and see if the fuse blows. If it does, suspect that there is a short in the O2S heaters circuit(s) associated with that relay. If not, shut the engine down and plug the other relay in. Start the engine and see if the fuse blows.

Edit: If the first relay blows the fuse, remove it and plug in the other relay to see if it too blows the fuse.

Unplug the O2S's associated with the relay that blows the fuse. One at a time, reconnect an O2S and see which one blows the fuse.

If you can find which O2S is causing the fuse to blow you may want to unplug the O2S again, and using an Ohmmeter, read the resistance of the O2S heater in the O2S. The heater wires are both White. Read between the O2S pigtail connector pin cavities with the white wires. Resistance should be 4-7 Ohms. Read between a pin cavity to the exhaust manifold, you should see infinity. Repeat for the other white wire pin cavity.

If the O2S heaters are okay, inspect the wiring very closely for chafing to ground, or from another O2S wire to a heater wire.
