Grinding noise when I brake or turn right. Already checked brake pads, changed rotors, changed driver side wheel bearing, and checked u joints. I originally thought it was a brake problem but the noise almost sounds like it is coming from my dashboard. I tried uploading a video with this post but I’m not sure that it worked. Thanks for any ideas!

video didn’t load so here’s a post that I tried asking other jeep people on Reddit

If you turn right and don't put your turn signal on, does it still make the noise?

Did you check all the bolts on the control arms? I had an adjustable lower arm that the nut had worked loose on that made a noise similar to that. Thought my shock was coming off.

I actually figured it out! The breather tube for my front differential popped out so when I put it back in the noise stopped.

I wouldn't know why reconnecting a breather tube would have fixed that..

I’m not sure why either but it’s been almost a week and still no noise
