2 simple basic things to check while you wait for your FP test kit to arrive
* take of the oil filler cap, and inspect it for any white cream
* take off the radiator cap with engine cool, and running and see if there are bubbles
either of these would indicate a failed head gasket, no tools needed

With the renix I don't know but on 97+ there is a so-called shrader valve on the fuel line (in the engine bay part of the line) that you hook this up to.
But you might have to wait until renix folks in the US wake up and point you where to hook the gauge to.

I tried it early this morning, I think I did everything correctly and this is what I got. after I tried to turn it back on and it magically works !!
but I don't trust ... basically I didn't do anything the other day when he didn't even leave. something that works at times there must be ...

That fuel pressure reading is too low
You need to check the specs for your year, but I have an idea its around 39psi
You may have a bad fuel pump, blocked filter, leak in system or faulty fuel injector

Steve, that pressure appears low. 31 is the lowest you should see, and 39 highest.
Do you have any starting fluid you could spray into the throttle body and see if it starts?
