Default Suspension idea and question..

Has anyone ever done a dual shock setup on the front axle on an XJ? I was thinking it would make the front suspension ride a whole lot better.

i think dual shocks would be overkill, and wouldnt work the way your thinking. I'd go with a good riding single shock like a bilstein or OME. thats my $.02

dont know if duals will help on such a light vehicle, invest in some really good shocks and maybe an air bumpstop system

lol I am no overly worried about the ride just wondering if dual shocks would help offroad...Mainly was just curious. I know big trucks run em due to weight and all but wasn't sure if an XJ could benefit from such a think. I do however plan on some OME or Bilstein shocks at some point.

there is no reason to, jeeps are too light. if you run two 90/35 valved shocks sure, but thats insanely light, and i dont think you can even buy a shock that light.

that's cool just something I was wondering. Logically I would agree the jeep is far to light..thanks for the input.
