Swapping Doors On A 2 Door
So long story short I have a 93 2 door with manual windows, locks and mirrors, with a lot of rust. Floors are coming along and I was looking for new doors.
I came across a Facebook listing for some clean, rust free all manual doors. Now I realized the doors are from 98~ and they are stripped so I don’t have panels and handles or a mirror.
How challenging is it to swap over the door panel, interior door handle, lock switch and mirrors from the 93 to a late model door?
Pic of my door and the new door for reference

IIRC, the 97-01 uses a completely different latch setup than your 93 and the doors will not swap without extensive modifications. Cutting, relocating everything, and rewelding it back together. More trouble than its worth. The inner handle isnt in the same place either. You can see that in the pics.

I believe the hinges and/or latches are in different locations. Your door panels won't swap onto the newer door. I think there are some videos on youtube about swapping to newer doors but it is a project.
